Another way of shading is by
using the cutout effect in Paint Shop, this gives a softer effect than
hand shading

Select the area you want to
shade with wand and floodfill with your colour
Go to Selections/Float, then
Effects/3D Effects/Cutout
and use the settings below, but changing the colours to the ones you are
using. Change the shadow colour to a shade darker than the fill colour
The only setting you need to
change is the blur, the smaller/larger the area you are filling, the
lower/higher the setting. Play about with the blur until it's to your
liking
*Note. You can only do one
section at a time with the cutout, don't try to fill more than one area
at a time

bathtub, sink and shower in this picture
